This is the fourth of the Peter Grant series and the thrill of reading about his adventures has faded away, sad to say.

Like Jasper Fforde, Aaronovitch just has too many brilliant and funny ideas, but he does not bother with a consistent plot, and so the whole weird story drags on and on, leaving the reader rather exhausted, although parts of it are really clever, witty and good for a quote.
